The comprehensive analysis of adaptive mechanisms of institutional changes in economic systems under market transition has been made. The essence and functions of adaptive mechanisms has been determined. Its influence on institutional development of transitive economy is explored.
The institution’s adaptation and its role in performance of complete institutional systems has been considered. Its specific value under conditions of transitive economy is specified.
It has been proved, that key role in adaptive mechanism has economic agents’ adaptive behavior. The analysis of its components, structure, sources of adaptable behavior has been fulfilled. On that basis method of the state influence on the adaptive mechanism of institutional changes has been worked out. The direction of the influence is to strength of those forms of the adaptive mechanism which enhance the further rooting of market institutions and formation of complete institutional system.
