Problems of activization of investment potential utilization of region are considered in the dissertation. Based on the analytical study of domestic and foreign publications dedicated to the given problem, the essence and features of regional investment potential utilization are determined. Functions of investment potential of region as the tool for realization of scientific and technical progress achievements and creation of qualitative highly productive potential of region, proceeding from interrelation of economic growth and activization of investment activity, are specified. It is defined that the objective and interconnected preconditions, including accumulation of free capital by potential investors and creation of legal conditions and directions for effective investment of the capital by the state, are conditions for conducting active investment activity in economy with advanced market relations, As a result of the analysis of methods of investment potential utilization, it is established, that it is necessary to improve methods of activization on the basis of utilization of partner and integrational approach. The mechanism and systematized model of organizational and economic support formation of activization of investment potential of region utilization is developed. The necessity of utilization of integrational forms of investment activity activization, partnership of activization of investment potential utilization is justified.
