Gevorkyan A.Y. The adaptation of machine building enterprises to the conditions of WTO. – Manuscript.

The thesis in order to receive a candidate’s degree on Economics in the speciality 08.00.04 – economy and management of enterprises (according to kinds of economic activity). – National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”. – Kharkiv, 2009.

The thesis is dedicated to the development of theoretical and methodical ways of the management of the competitiveness of enterprises in the machine building industry in the process of the adaptation to the conditions of the WTO. The essence of the categories “the adaptation of an enterprise” and “the competitiveness of an enterprise” taking into account their intercommunication has been investigated. The heterogeneity of the machine building enterprises in the preparedness to new competitive conditions is proved. The methodical approach to the rise of the competitiveness of machine building enterprises in the process of the adaptation to the conditions of WTO that leave to every similar group of enterprises to fix the unified strategy of economic reforms is substantiated. The suitable matrixes to all the clusters are devised where the typical strategy of economical reforms are offered for the enterprises that are systemized according to the generalized indices.
