Shymechko G.I. Agritourism as the form of business activity. – Manuscript.

Thesis to gain Candidate of Economical Sciences Degree on Speciality 08.00.04 – Economy and Management of Enterprises (according to types of economic activity).– Lviv National Agrarian University, Dublany, 2009.

The essence, meaning and place of agritourism as the form of business activity, as the direction of sustainable development of rural areas, as the factor of improvement of village citizens’ economic situation as well as of its functioning social and economic and ecological conditions are investigated in this thesis. The methodic of this phenomenon and methodic of agritourism economic efficiency estimating as for agrotouristical enterprises and for rural areas as the whole and for aritourists are formed. The social and economical evaluation of agrotouristical services market formation and evaluation of agritourism development efficiency in some regions of western Ukraine are made and its factors are investigated. The perspectives of agritourism next period development are substantiated and shown as well as some ways of social and economical conditions for that creation, including agricultural activity taxing improvement on the base of agrotouristical enterprises categorization, organization and attractiveness of material and technical base enhancing, agrotouristical services marketing development on the base of prices creation system on those improvement are presented.
