Draga T.V. Adjustment of foreign trade activities in the agro-industrial      complex to the global market conditions. – Manuscript.

The dissertation provides a systematically grounded analysis of the highest topical problems of methods for studying of the adjustment of foreign trade activities in the agro-industrial complex (AIC) to the global market conditions; it elucidates the mechanism of the adjustment development in terms of agriculture and the food industry on both the theoretical and practical levels.

There are decided issues related to the following: up-building of a system of the adjustment of foreign economic activities in the AIC to the global market's norms and regulations within the frameworks of GATT/WTO; economic-organizing mechanism of the AIC's integration with the EU countries' markets and entering  the European market with competitive  products; protection of the domestic market against discriminatory imports. The outcomes obtained can be used for further elaboration of measures aimed at promoting the adjustment of the AIC foreign economic activities to the global market conditions.
